dii, LLC was originally formed in March of 2005 as a vehicle to diversify the group of companies, that would eventually become The Moreno Group, into disaster recovery services primarily for the USACE in the area of marine debris recovery. With two major hurricanes, Katrina and Rita, making landfall in close proximity to Lafayette in August of 2005, dii was catapulted into the disaster response services arena. With such overwhelming devastation, first in South Western Louisiana and South Eastern Mississippi and then in Southeastern Texas and Southwestern Louisiana, dii’s services were a welcome addition to the small list of companies providing these services at the time.
Since those early trying times, dii has evolved into one of the premier disaster response companies in the country. With a strong customer base such as Fluor, Entergy, FedEx, Dept. of Energy and Chevron to support when disasters strike. Our Emergency Operating Center located in Broussard, Louisiana remains ready to be “stood up” within a moments notice. Supported by all companies within the Moreno Group family of companies there is no recovery task to large for dii to tackle.
